Gold Hill Redwood Products’ redwood furniture is warrantied to the original purchaser against defects in material as to the furniture components for a period of fifteen years from the date of purchase.
This warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of defective components. No assembly labor is included. The word “defects” as used in this warranty is defined as imperfections that impair the utility of the product.
This warranty applies under conditions of normal use, but does not apply to defects that result from misuse, intentional damage, unreasonable use or exposure to the elements. Small checks/cracks are not covered by the warranty. Wood moves when left outside due to the constant changes in temperature and moisture. Some small cracks are an occasional but natural development of being outside over the years.
Each piece is inspected prior to shipment from our workshop to assure that it is in good condition. Damage incurred while being shipped is not covered under our warranty.
It is your responsibility to inspect the shipment as soon as it arrives to determine any damage.
If your new furniture appears to have been damaged in shipment, please advise the carrier delivering the product to your location. It is also your responsibility to advise the shipping company immediately upon delivery if there is any damage to the container.
Requests for replacement of warranted parts must be written and accompanied by the original invoice showing date of purchase and all product details. We may ask you to send a photo of the defective part or at our option we may request that you return the defective part.
- Replacement requests must be submitted with 14 days of receipt of the item.
- All returned items carry a 20% restocking fee which will be deducted from your return/credit.
- Customized orders may not be returned for credit.
